Order Returns

At Inspired LED, it is our goal to ensure customer satisfaction by providing high quality goods and services. We proudly stand by our products, and in the event of a return or exchange we pledge to do our best to handle all transactions in a prompt, fair, and reasonable manner. Company return & exchange policies are designed to provide a clear guideline for our procedures, and we encourage customers to reach out with us with any questions. We also realize that circumstances will vary by product and by customer, so as part of our commitment to excellence, each return or exchange will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine the best course of action.

Return Policy

  • Inspired LED maintains a hassle-free return policy.
  • Returned merchandise must be in its original packaging and condition to qualify for return.
  • The original order number and customer’s contact information must be included within the package. A 5-7 day processing delay may occur if information isn’t included.
  • An RMA number must be issued to the customer and must be clearly written on the outside of the package for return shipment.
  • Prepaid return labels are not provided for customer returns or exchanges.
  • Please allow 7 business days for refunds to fully process on credit card or bank statements.
  • COD (collect on delivery) packages will be rejected and not processed.
  • Items returned from a kit will receive a refund equivalent to the item’s discounted kit value.
  • Returns of large, custom orders may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please contact Inspired LED before returning items in order to determine whether or not this fee will apply.

Exchange Policy

  • Inspired LED maintains a hassle-free exchange policy.
  • Returned merchandise must be in its original packaging and condition to qualify for exchange.
  • An RMA number must be issued to the customer and must be clearly written on the outside of the package for return shipment.
  • Exchanging non-custom items can be done in one of two ways:
    • Option 1: Purchase the replacement items ahead of time. Once the new items are installed, send back unwanted items for a full refund (RMA number required).
    • Option 2: Send back unwanted items (RMA number required) for credit towards new order. You will be contacted once the unwanted items have been received and credit has been processed. A new order will be processed for replacement items.
  • Exchanges pertaining to general adjustments in length, connector type, etc., will necessarily require the customer to return the item before alterations can be made.
  • Exchanges of custom items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please contact Inspired LED before exchanging items in order to determine whether or not this fee will apply.

Incorrect Shipment/Defective Items

  • Customers are expected to inspect and confirm all package contents upon delivery. Please note that certain products are extremely small in size, so packaging should be completely unwrapped to ensure these components are not lost or accidentally discarded.
  • Inspired LED must be notified within 90 days of product delivery regarding incorrect shipments or defective items. Please contact us directly by emailing orders@inspiredled.com, or by calling (480) 941-4286.
  • In some cases, visual evidence of incorrect shipments or defective items may be required before replacements can be sent. We reserve the right to request a photograph of damaged or incorrect items to be emailed for the purposes of inspection and quality control.
  • Non-functional products must be confirmed defective by Inspired LED Personnel before a refund or exchange can be completed. The customer is responsible for sending back items requiring a quality inspection in order for the product to be ruled a defective unit. Please contact Inspired LED directly for corresponding return instructions.
  • Materials or products that are reported as non-functional outside of the 90 day delivery window, but are still under warranty, must be sent back to Inspired LED for inspection, repair, or color matching.
    • In order to stay on the cutting edge of the LED industry, we are constantly upgrading, inventing, and incorporating new items into our product line. In cases where an exact product replacement may no longer be available as part of our inventory, we will make every effort to replace the defective item with one that most closely matches in appearance and functionality.

The warranty described above shall not apply under the following circumstances:

  • The original Invoice/Order number cannot be provided, or the customer file can’t be located
  • Malfunction in any unit after operation at more than the rated voltage
  • Damages resulting from accident, alteration or misuse
  • Damages resulting from the improper selection or installation of lighting products
